The fatigue

about the series

The Fatigue

The concept of the "Fatigue" series, inspired by Millais' "Ophelia" and Klimt's sensuality, explores the liminal state of the soul, where a woman in water with flowers embodies exhaustion and fragility. The imagery of immersion in nature and decorative elements symbolizes inner transformation, balancing loss and beauty. The series conveys emotional depth, revealing fatigue as a state that leads to the sublime through melancholy.

Evanescence of Being

It's a fragile dance of life and death, where beauty and finitude intertwine like the wings of a butterfly. At its center is a woman in a flowing purple-blue dress woven from butterflies, symbolizing the fleeting nature of existence. The pattern on the fabric comes alive, with moths dissolving into the air, blurring the boundary between reality and dream. Orange-red flowers woven into the composition flare with contrast, underscoring the vulnerability of the moment. The viewer is left wondering: is it a flower or a butterfly, reality or illusion?

Death and beauty are sisters. Death whispers of the inevitable end, while beauty is a rebellion, an attempt to hold onto the fleeting. Together, they give birth to art, reconciling their eternal dispute. The painting is about accepting the fragility of life, its dazzling beauty vanishing like butterfly wings.
